Lady Trojans take it to Texas sending them back to Austin with their heads spinning.

On Sunday the Trojans beat another top team 6-1, losing one of two 3 set match's in a tiebreaker 7-2. After taking the opening doubles play 2 matches to 1 (which result in getting 1 point) the Trojans polished off the #22 girls from Austin, sending back to longhorn territory looking for their horns. Lead by Valeria Pulido's opening singles match 6-1, 6-0 the trojans took the next 4 singles matches with Alison Ramos (Ali is going thru a hard time it seems so if you go to a match give her a lot of support) 3 set loss in a tiebreaker 7-2.  #10 Danielle Lao was the next to win at #2 singles in straight sets over Krista Damico (UT) -- 6-3, 6-4, then #1 singles Maria Sanchez finished off the Shorthorns with a  6-3, 7-5  win over #8 Aeriel Ellis. Cristala Andrews took out Cierra Gaytan-Leach niece of Dick Leach (former coach at USC) at #6 singles along with Kaitlyn Christian getting the last singles point of the day. Today the womens team went up to spots to #15 and M Sanchez went to #1.
