Sadly, that won't happen. At least not this year.

For three reasons:
1.) He can’t play in a bowl game.
2.) He’s a sophomore
3.) Luck has it locked up barring a total collapse.

HOWEVER…

Woods is still a heavy favorite for the Biletnikoff Award for best WR, and I AM hearing him as an early contender for the 2012 Heisman, with or without Barkley.

No, not this year

but he deserves to be in the conversation now.

#1 in receiving yards, #1 in receptions, #1 in receiving TDs,

with a home game against an incredibly suspect defense next on the schedule? It’s ridiculous.

Where is Marquise Lee?

I am just wondering where Lee is on this list, it’d be an interesting thing to look into, especially as a Freshman!

Lee is already well established...was talking specifically about this game

Woods was not largely hyped in the preseason

and so I fear the national media will just hand the Biletnikoff to Justin Blackmon without a second thought (since they no longer have to consider Broyles).

Based on the results so far, Woods should win it going away. And to think, he’s only a sophomore!
