Band member question

Just wondering. Why did the band not play "Tusk" during the game on Saturday.

According to TheViewFromFigueroa's link

They did — at least at the end. Twice.

Once while the UCLA was marching across the field to get back to their bus.

It just shows they have to much attention to USC and maybe it is brainwashed into them during their byears at uclol.

Yes we can't play in a Bowl and that is lucky for the rest of College FB' but next year we at USC will dominate.

They didn't play it in the Coliseum until post game

Probably PH’s orders.

Larry Scott is a spineless, candy ass, limp wristed, silver spoon sucking, tits and ass tennis show pimping, Champagne swilling, rich asshole "Haavahd" tennis player from New York City with ZERO HISTORY OF KNOWING OR CARING A WHIT ABOUT COLLEGE FOOTBALL, AND EVEN LESS ABOUT PAC-10* FOOTBALL.

U feeling Loco?

I know they played it twice after the game was over

They didn’t play it at all during the game. It would have been nice for the ucla team and coaches to hear it reverberate throughout the coliseum during the 3rd quarter when the ucla fans were filing out of their seats.

nah, i don't agree

Tusk is okay, but the chants of “UCLA sucks” would really suck.
It’s poor conduct to chant that when you have the other team down hard.
I really prefer to see the scoreboard run up.
Then, you have their coach being an absolute idiot and not kick a single FG when he had multiple chances.

I disagree

The 8 game streak that they went on had a lot of bruin fans, players, and coaches just asking for “Tusk” to be played once their bad karma got cashed in. I would agree with you if they didn’t have Rick running his mouth off before the game about gaps and corners being turned, and needles moving.

Rick earned a good rendition of “Tusk” in his final game against USC. He should thank Haden for showing mercy.

No

The guy just got fired. You don’t have to hit a guy when he’s down.
The score board says it all…

and get a load of this from Bloomberg:
http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2011-11-28/ucla-fires-football-coach-neuheisel-after-50-0-loss-to-crosstown-rival-usc.html

“Before joining UCLA for the 2008 season, Neuheisel spent three years as an assistant with the National Football League’s Baltimore Ravens. He also coached the University of Washington to a 33-16 record over four seasons before being fired in 2003 after admitting to winning $20,000 on a college basketball gambling pool. He sued the school and the National Collegiate Athletic Association, and settled in March 2005 for $4.7 million. "

again I disagree

Rick gets what he deserves.

Tusk is a tradition

its for OUR fans and alumni — not theirs. This is a rivalry, the fact that Rick couldn’t get it done is his fault. If the positions were reversed the Bruins would rub it in.
