Bruins coach Rick Neuheisel said Monday that the gap between USC and UCLA has closed. "I don't know if that's the case, I haven't really researched it," coach Lane Kiffin said. "Record wise, it's not as far apart as it used to be, so he'd probably be right."

ONE win so far this century... BUT...
If the gap IS closing, I guess you could agree in a geological kind of way… they say that the Hawaiin Islands will slam into Japan in a few billion years… give or take a millennium… and while our own continent and outer shelf will also migrate westward eroding and compacting the actual land mass separating downtown and the west side of L.A. Yeah, in that sense I think Rick might have a point.
