Wow what a job this person has done at USC in less than 2 years, developing players and their professional pride. Really Lane is a throw back to the McKay era, he makes sure players go to class, act in a responsible manner and intern develops them as far as he can to prepare them for the next level. Take MB7 for instance, he has done nothing but grow each year under Kiffin.

Then take a kid like McNeal  was on his way out and coach helped him to become a better student  and now he has made strides on the field. Also he is not afraid to discipline players to show that it is a team atmosphere, not just all about one person. This why I feel win or lose on any given day it is a win win situation for USC football.
