After losing (at Home) to Oregon they can only hope to win out with Notre Dame and Cal( I think they lose to Cal) left to play, to get a BCS top bowl. Larry Scott's plan hasn't worked out so good, he should have helped with USC's appeal to get the Bowl Ban reduced. Maybe because the Pac-12 headquarters (being in the bay area) they are partial to Stanford, but as we can see that isn't working out so well. Stanford had one of the easiest schedules except the Pac-12 which isn't highly respected by BCS. So where does this loss to Oregon leave them in the rankings now probably 12-16, depending on which poll it is. I really don't know how the alignment could work better but clearly this one is not working, since ucla or Utah could be playing Oregon for title game.
