Everson Griffen arrested near USC

Classify this as Nantucket 2.0. Per the Daily Trojan:

Former USC defensive end Everson Griffen was tased and apprehended by LAPD after assaulting an officer at a traffic stop near USC's campus at around 4 p.m. Monday.

Police officers were performing a traffic stop at the intersection of 30th and Hoover Streets when they pulled Griffen over. He did not have an I.D. on him and became aggressive when questioned by officers, according to an LAPD spokesperson. Griffen attempted to run away and then assaulted one of the officers who was pursuing him. The officers tased Griffen, then arrested him on a charge of felony battery.

Got to love those five-stars.

This is his second arrest in three days. Sigh

To improve, they should try to become the musical southern cal of the west. - bRuins Nation poster on the Stanford band.

gone but not forgotten... yet

I always wince a bit when a guy leaves early for the NFL. In this case… what I felt was ambivalence… hated to see the team lose a veteran player but… quite frankly… not really sad to see the player in question go. Griffen, as I recall, had difficulty in focusing on football… had a good/promising freshman year… found the dog house in his sophomore year… then improved the next year enough to go on to the NFL. Now he’s THEIR problem… as well as his own… and one less worry for the Trojans who right now, I’m sure, will take it.

A Quick Note for the Quitters
No comment from this thread will be deleted. You will have to own them when we get it turned around and beat Southern Cal. You will never ride the bandwagon when we come back. Not on BN. GO BRUINS.

Wowwwwwwwwww

This guy has been putting his foot in his mouth for some time, I know he wasn’t brought that way, he is becoming a modern day Toddy M. Well the fool better get control of himself or he will not be playing on Sunday— well maybe in the California Penal League.

BOOM_BOOM that was the sound of the DUCKs being shot down again in a BCS Bowl Game---I guess all that Slave Money can't buy a championship.
