Dan Patrick asked: Do you think Reggie Bush should return his Heisman?
Pat Haden: "If I were Reggie Bush with Pat Haden's soul, I would say yes."
Dan Patrick: Does he have your soul?
Pat Haden: I don't know Reggie Bush.

Pat and I might be right, we could be wrong though too- it’s a “conscience-thing”.
Lastly, isn’t it great that USC’s Athletic Director gets in the news for the “right reasons” and while there, he doesn’t make a complete fool out of himself?

I agree about Haden in the news, but Reggie not having a soul?
Dude was voted to the heisman did it make him any better than the next man, I say no. Should he give it back that is up to him not Dan Patrick (who the hell does he think he is anyway) really does anyone really care at this point and why. Last I saw the Sun came came up this morning and hopefully it comes up tomorrow, i say lets move on. I feel most on this site have moved on but it seems that the media still has a stick stuck up there butts.
So Fight On USC followers and Don’t worry WE Will Still Play on Saturdays and Bowls will come later, for WE ARE SC not That other Softball University. Oh and don’t say you now have a baseball team, it’s not Real Baseball unless you use Wooden Bats

That decision is entirely up to Reggie Bush…yeh, I know, he screwed the school. As long as Haden blathers about his soul and then condemns Reggie…he only continues to feed the trolls, so I say shut up Pat, and concentrate on getting some donations for the new football facility.

We've already seen the defiance schtick...It don't work for PR.
however, rather than countenance the constant barrage of redundant dialogue regarding infractions and Bush in particular, he could (if thinking on his feet) HAVE DEFERRED with a simple script of the University Position on both issues, rather than embark on his personal moral convictions. I’ve watched Pete Carroll do so, on many occasions in the past with great success.
The sooner this whole debacle is put to bed in print and media, the sooner the school can move forward.

I’m pretty sure he was simply implying that, if he (Pat) was in Reggie Bush’s situation- but that, at the same time- he (Pat) maintained the disposition, character, and “soul”-traits that he (Pat) currently has. . . . .than as Reggie Bush: he’d return the Heisman.

Pat Haden
First off, he’s a football hero and has been around “the game” for a long, long time. When I say “game”- I mean to imply both on the football field and in the media box.
Secondly, he’s a Trojan through and through. Of course he’s not without sin, who said he was Jesus?
Thirdly, if anyone one of us doesn’t think Pat Haden is worthy to be our Athletic Director either because he isn’t qualified professionally or what-have-you. . .create a freaking Fanpost/Fanshot.
Fourth, Pete Carroll had many, many detractors as it applies to “his on-record” persona. That shit didn’t fly with many people. Oh, and by the way alfa1- Pete Carroll PUT HIS MORALS AND PHILOSOPHY INTO EVERYTHING HE SAID AND DID. Why bag on Pat Haden for putting in his? Makes no sense.
Lastly, Pat Haden didn’t judge Reggie’s soul. He answered a damn question for gosh sakes.
