LenDale White gets a few things off of his chest
I think it is pretty clear to most people that LenDale White has some bitterness in his life.
I am not a big fan of throwing your school or program under the bus but White is entitled to his opinion...
Asked what he thought of USC athletic director Mike Garrett's contention that he didn't know of any improprieties at the program, White replied, "I don't want to bad mouth nobody, but as big as this scale is and as much as they (the NCAA) saying somebody took, for you not to know anything is kind of unbelievable to me. I don't know. If you're the athletic director I'm pretty sure you get wind of something, that somebody's put something in your ear. When I was going to school there, and we were partying too much on campus, coaches could show up at our dorm room and tell us to calm the partying down. But you can't tell if somebody took a $750,000 home? I don't know. It's weird to me."
You can read the rest if you wish...
I won't break it down too much because it is obvious that White's bitterness is getting the best of him.
This whole mess has really taken its toll on many inside the football program, both past and present. I am just sorry that White has chosen this forum to air his dirty laundry...true or not...proven or not.
Pete Carroll is not blameless in all of this but he does not deserve this. All a coach wants to do is win games. Asking him to be the compliance officer as well as the coach is a bit much. It is easy to point fingers when hind sight is 20/20 so I prefer to just leave it alone.
White should be ashamed for this outburst even if he does have a legit gripe about Carroll cutting him, but in reality one has nothing to do with the other.

I’m considering a new personal policy where I convince myself that USC players after they leave the program have passed away, and there’s no longer any need to continue to follow them or hear what they have to say.
I really don't feel he threw anybody under the bus but PC for not knowing why LW was cut by Hawks.
Otherwise he said he he didn’t see anything wrong, but did go on to say that the AD should of been checking or MIGHT have known. Plus he he said the punishment doesn’t fit the action taken by organization, also had some great things to say about Kiffin that I hope young recruits heard. The reporters were egging him on and were determined to get what they wanted to hear, A-typical radio hacks.
A little bit tried but when you play a match like this you don't feel tried.
John Isner after they asked him how he felt after the match, which he won 6-4, 3-6, 6-7, 7-6, 70-68 in 5th after 3 days.

I read it the same way that you did. And he didn’t try and pretend that he and Carroll had been best buds when he was at SC either.
"When the seagulls follow the trawler, it's because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea"
Well at least LW had the guts to wait on receving moneies until after the draft, or FB season.
I still don’t get the bushes if they needed money so bad they should have gotten a loan, what bank in their mind would have not given them a loan.

im not sure, but i think that even that would be a violation
I’m not sure if taking a loan on a future in the NFL would count as an extra benefit. Athletes cant take any money based upon their status as athletes. Therefore the Bush’s would only get a loan if they had sufficient equity or credit.
So you really think the parents getting a loan would break the rules, they don't even have to use Reggie as collateral.
I know I would give it to them, plus your telling me ncaa athletes parents have to live in poverty.

They can get a loan
Just not on the back of Reggie’s future NFL status. If they have sufficient credit, and collateral, they could apply for a loan. They had credit card debt, a couple of cars, and rented an apartment. No bank is going to lend more money to people who are already in debt with no collateral. I would have loaned them money too based on Reggie’s potential in the NFL, but it would have made them ineligible.
No it doesn't unless the bank puts it in the loan papers, plus you wouldn't have to because you know they will make good on it.
The Ncaa needs to be restructured period!

Dont know if I agree with you on that Socal
Right now Lamar Griffin is being sued in small claims court for just under $3000 in back rent that he owes his former landlord. Reggie has millions, but his dad is still not paying his bills.
Still want to loan them money?
Wow really, well I guess they are those - - - - - - I knew on the BB court.
