Gibson gave the Bulls a frontcourt boost, leading all rookies in rebounding (7.5 rpg) and field goal percentage (.494), while placing second in blocks (1.27 bpg). The durable Gibson, who averaged 9.0 points in his first season, appeared in all 82 games for the Bulls, making 70 starts.
What a great accomplishment for Taj!
This could not have happened to a nicer guy.
FIGHT ON!

I did not expect immediate success for Taj
But I couldn’t be happier. He has a good career ahead of him.
Meanwhile, what is DeRozan doing?!

Congrats to Taj
Even as a Bruin, I’ve had respect for him. Funny that he’ll join a Bruin on that team, too…
Congrats to Taj
I’ll be forthcoming and admit that I did not predict this level of success for Taj. I thought his frame was too slight, and his shooting too poor. But, look at the shooting %!?! Taj has worked hard and is a great Trojan. I couldn’t be happier for him.
Leaving was definitely the right decision for him
But I would have loved to see him set some blocking records this year. Wow!

This only makes me covet my signed Trojan Fever shirt even more
Taj is definitely one of my five favorite SC basket ballers. I mean, when a guy can cause the student section to bring printed posters of the Taj Mahal to a basketball game, you know he’s a crowd favorite!
Well I see Taj is just reaping up like I felt he would!
People don’t realize how strong and smart of a player Taj is, that is why when watching a game if you don’t look away from wear the ball is you will not have any Idea how good some players really are. If you watch him you will see that Taj works for position on both office and defense and reads the ball coming off the rim as good as Barkley did.
Well I would write something but I can't think of anything, so GO ME.
