Report: Anthony McCoy tests positive for weed at the the NFL combine

I saw this yesterday but I wanted to hold off in case there was a mistake. I knew there wasn't a mistake but one can wish right?

What was Anthony McCoy thinking?

I mean they all know they get tested right so why blow a bong within thirty days of the test?

Former USC tight end Anthony McCoy tested positive for marijuana at February’s NFL scouting combine, FoxSports.com reported.

How much the positive test will affect McCoy’s status in the upcoming draft remains to be seen.

Florida’s Percy Harvin tested positive last year, but that didn’t stop Minnesota from selecting him in the first round.

McCoy is not nearly as highly rated. With several tight ends ahead of him on most draft boards — and the positive test sullying McCoy’s resume — he easily could fall to the fourth or fifth round.

I had heard about McCoy’s positive test last week from a reliable source, but I was unable to get secondary confirmation. I declined to run the item without that, considering the sensitive nature of the accusation.

McCoy already faced questions about his focus and maturity — remember, he missed his final college game because he was academically ineligible — and the positive test only will exacerbate those concerns.

That last sentence is all I need to know.

How does a guy literally piss the biggest opportunity in life away?

I mean where is the self control? How did not know he was going to to get tested. This is in his best interests but he chose to piss it all away.
