Around SBN: The Worst Team Ever Projected?

While Lane Kiffin isn't hiring an offensive coordinator, he is bringing former USC wideout Keary Colbert aboard as a graduate assistant to coach the tight ends according to Scott Wolf.

Not sure what happened to Keary

He started out great his first season with almost 50 catches and 850 yds. Then, was on IR and cut a few times. The Lions were the last to cut him and they had a desperate need at WR. He actually played in the UFL for a while after that, I think.

I would suspect that injuries slowed him down, but couldn’t find anything specific. Maybe he just lacked the speed. I am surprised because Keary was one of my favorites. Hard worker and great, great hands. Awesome addition to the staff.

Hopefully, he’ll be interviewed and discuss his NFL departure soon.

He was pretty awful in his last go round with the Seahawks

They gave up a pick to get him and he couldn’t earn time over guys who had been out of the NFL that the Seahawks were signing because of injuries. If you can’t get playing time over 30+ year old dudes signed off the street its time to hang it up.

If there's ever a movie to be made of Coach Carroll's . . .

. . . .excellent run in college football (USC)- I say, Vince Vaughn plays the part of Brendan Carroll. The actor who won best supporting actor for “Inglorius Basterds”- he should play Coach Carroll. His German-speaking role was awesome. Considering my French is suspect to say the least- this actor’s chops is just awesome. As his French was quite good as well.
