Who were the announcers? Not one comment on the foul; was it a foul?, should it have been called at that point in the game, etc, etc, etc. The only comment was regarding O’Neil not having them foul on the floor. Pathetic.

The funny thing about the announcers

is that even though they were the local broadcast Arizona homers, they brought into question at least 2 or 3 really bad calls against SC down the stretch. But as soon as they mentioned that the call was questionable, they moved on and forgot about it.

It’s tough to let this one go because it should have been our win and it was stolen from us unjustly, in the last game of the season, no less. Regardless, it was just one game that didn’t mean a whole lot in the grand scheme of things. I think it just hurts more because we should have been able to end this horrific season on a high note and even that was “stripped” from us.

Lots of bad breaks this season

The only positive out of that is hopefully we flushed lots of bad luck down this wasted season, and will start getting some breaks going forward.

I cannot recall a season where USC hit no last second shots, made no comebacks, and very, very rarely won very close games at the end. It seems like we were up in every game we won. And, we were up and lost in the last 5 minutes almost every game we lost. Except for the early season blowouts. Tough luck season. Usually, the breaks tend to even out over the course of the year.

What. A. Terrible. Call. Wow.

At USC we're not snobs, we're just better than you.

It really looks like Vucevic tipped the ball, barely

it seems to spin off short and to the side, ever so slightly. a horrible call among many. hope KO files a complaint. why oh why must the refs decided games at the end. what is so hard about putting up your whistle unless there’s a blatant foul.

Pac-10 refs always let their feelings get in the way of the facts. That’s the way it is, and it is the way it will be for us until we get an elite coach that commands respect from those clowns. Do you think they would have called it that way on Coach K?

It looked like Vuc might have gotten a little of the hand

Why couldn’t they show a close up of the last shot. It would show if there was contact, or if it was a clean block. It would be nice to know for sure if the Trojans got robbed.

I can’t see that frak; but isn’t the hand considered to be part of the ball? It was blatant robbery, home cooking of the worst kind; but hey, it’s just KO, why should anyone care?

I can't say one way or another, but the team got robbed a long time before that. Like the second week of league play when told the season is over, now it is practice.

You know I can understand KO thinking of winning the pac-10, but it was certainly obvious it wasn’t going to happen the last 6 games. So why doesn’t he play some other players to develop them typical asinine Ncaa basketball coach, fuck him and the horse he came in on.

WTF

Are you really saying he should have taken minutes from the seniors like Dwight Lewis who have earned their time? That he shouldn’t have coached to try to win every game? Fuck him?

by RabbitSC on Mar 9, 2010 11:45 AM PST up reply actions

Taking away 6-10 minutes is nothing, the fact is why didn't he figure out how to play 10 anyway.

Well the fact is that he overworked his team and they ran out of gas late in the season, sometimes you have to play more than 6. But even last year TF didn’t play enough players and ran them into ground also, I guess everyone is happy with that. I have coached and I always believe in winning but by god I will develop my players, not try in win at all cost to look good.
