Incredible clip!

I don’t know though? What’s with all this anyway? Why can’t the officials at the combine get this one particular timed-run of Taylor’s anywhere close to being right? And fair?

Since the early part of last year’s college football season, I can’t understand the hyper-criticism of Taylor Mays’ play and abilities? It’s as if he got on everyone’s bad-side simultaneously, with no let-up?

The young man can play football. Does he have refined technique? (for laying wood? eh? maybe, maybe so?) Can he get better, is he coachable? (hell yeah times 2) Is he better than Eric Berry? (who gives a flying fuck? 2 different players in totally different systems, different conferences. how ’bout this: is any safety in college ball right now, better than either Berry or Mays?)

How fast did Berry run?

TayMay has the highest ceiling of pretty much all the draft-eligible players going into the NFL next year. He has NFL H of F-er written all over him. Franchise player with a pedigree unmatched by anyone and character beyond reproach.

We'll See

Let the talking heads have their day. I have to believe the decision makers in the league could give a shit what they think.

Who is better? Not 1 of the players in this draft has played 1 down against pro competition. If anyone thinks that the college game is the same as the NFL, their F-ing crazy.

Mays has everything it takes to be the BEST player at safety taken in this draft; if he can be coached up and maximizes his potential. Nobody including Berry matches his physical qualities (IMO).

I hope he makes the assholes that are talking shit now, kiss his ass next year when they ask for his PRO BOWL interview.

FIGHT ON Taylor!

If he plays close to what Cushing, Mathews and Malaluaga did this past year, he’ll be fine.

Reports are that many league scouts

hand-timed Taylor in the low 4.3s too. So, pretty much no one is taking is “official” time as credible. my question is, why don’t they guys review and try to revise it? how did the timer malfunction? seems to me to be a major credibility issue with all electronic timers at the combine. maybe other times were screwed up too? millions in contracts at stake?

does the combine lose some of its credibility from this? kind of surprised this hasn’t turned into a bigger story and there has been no official address from the combine overseers.
