Trojans to take on Ucla in Mens and Womens tennis today

Promising Tommy’s Hamburgers to all those who were in attendance. Just based on that alone, I almost ditched class to go.

For the first time, in like. . . . .forever! Nah, in about 2 months- I have been in town for 3 straight nights, . . . and it’s still only Wednesday (well, Thursday early morning), I know I’m definitely staying here in L.A.- I’m not even entertaining notions of driving out to Hollywood or Silver Lake, or any other crazy dive bar that could use some dice, free peanuts, or some extra pizzaz! Like, perhaps a pool table or better- SOME AMBIENCE!

I get home tonight, a little late- not too much. AND THEN I READ YOUR FANPOST!!!! D-dUUUUDE, I had absolutely nothing to do today (Wed)- I could have easily watched these matches. What the ? ???? ? ? I was in Woodland Hills today- that’s what I did. I surfed my freaking ass off, until my back was getting a little too worked- then drove my ass over Mulholland through Topanga and majorly pigged-out on an epicurean feast! AND I played some Wii. And geeked out with bitchen ass power tools. (that’s how banal an afternoon I had been having. i was essentially resigned to the fact that my afternoon didn’t sound fun doing laundry and Woodland Hills plus food sounded great to me when I got the invitation). Seriously, checking out Westwood today for all the tennis action would prolly have been way better!

At least that is, at first. (I actually had a crazy-fun time Bridget’s pad, though!) But anyways, if I had known about the matches on Monday or Tuesday? I would have been so very there, but. . . . I found out this morning Thurs 3/4/09 ????

Wait a second. Your wrote this 16 hrs ago and said it was happening today. So, is that today as in, yesterday? No way it means today, as in- Thursday? I might sleep in today a bit. I’ll check back.

(psssst. yo, SoCal? do you ride/train/race bicycles or on mountain bikes? if so, what kind of mileage? didn’t you used to have an avatar/picture of a person riding? just curious)

Yes I still ride a bike whenever possible at least 5 times a1-2 hrs a week. I used to mountain bike, but haven’t since that bike was stolen when I live in Vegas, I still have 2 road bikes. That picture is from 1985 Solvang century some where around santa maria and the rider behind me is my ex. Oh and the Men won 6-1 at ucla and the ladies lost 4-3 at home.

If all goes right this year Men will be in Finals again and the women would be lucky to get that far, but you never know. The Women are a very young team and a freshman lost the deciding match in 3 sets so it was close.
