Tommy Trojan's Tidbits (3/19/2010)

Reading-the-newspaper11_medium

I'm still looking for a title for daily news links.  This title was suggested by Joey, I like it.  If you have ANY suggestions, post them on here.  Anyway, It's been a slow week for Trojan news as everyone is on spring break.  Here are some links for you for your Trojan fix

Kiffin beat Natalie

Gulbis the golfer with the large bolt-ons. If he beats Erin Andrews then he takes on Helen Mirren and here big mommies. Helen is the one who took out Megan Fox which is just amazing, both that she won and Megan in general.

I'm an idiot

For some reason I thought Lane beat Helen Mirren. I made the correction but man I just scared myself for thinking about Helen Mirren above Natalie Gulbis.

That is because we were talking so much about Helen

in the other posting. Got her stuck in your head. Now I for one can appreciate the fact Helen is one damn fine looking woman for her age, I would hit it. However no way does she take out Megan Fox unless a lot of people just want to see certain match-ups. Which is fine by the way.

The generation gap in this blog is amusing

It’s divided by 30 years, maybe. There’s no one in-between. I think that’s awesome.

It’s the mommies!

Mike Bellotti

Stepping down as Oregon’s AD for working as an ESPN CFB analyst.

Whatever floats your boat..

by Julio Nievas on Mar 19, 2010 11:15 AM PDT reply actions

Didn't Bellotti just take that job?

Rhetorical question as we know he is a first year AD. However I wonder why he took it in the first place and why he is stepping down. Being an AD is one of the cushiest job on the planet. If you ask me, something is wrong in Duckland.

Has to be. I mean he’s taking an ESPN analyst gig for crying out loud!

by Julio Nievas on Mar 19, 2010 11:25 AM PDT up reply actions

Maybe he is promised Holtz job?

He probably doesn’t have the personality to take Corso’s job, but maybe Hotlz. Why else does ESPN take on a old has-been coach with little personality and is a known tool? Oh wait, they have two of those already. Both of those guys are pretty long in the tooth and can’t be around much longer, have to think he will take over for one of them. Still it’s a strange move, both are cushy high paying jobs but you can be an AD forever. An ESPN job can be pretty short term if you don’t click. Like I said, something is wrong with this picture.
