BREAKING NEWS: USC names Sample's replacement
USC has named C. L. Max Nikias, presently serving as Executive Vice President and Provost, as the school's 11th president. Nikias also received a unanimous vote and his presidency will become effective in August of this year.

The fix was in, the BofT didn’t want to rock the boat. While Nikias is far from an inspired choice he will do a competent job, and all the right people ($$$) like him.
