and the Vols would have been kings of the SEC. he had already landed the #1 recruit in the nation, Brice Brown. and, it’s not hyperbole to say that he also had the best coaching staff in the conference.
as we have seen, there is some cyclicality involved. if you are a champion, your staff gets raided – see Florida. it’s inevitible that the Floridas, USCs, and Bamas have their down years.
Tenn did beat Bama’s football team. They just lost to the refs.

That was the Florida/LSU game where the refs were. . . . . .well, up to “know” good. (meant to). Lemme ask you this: Could the Vols obliterated Florida in the SEC Championship game this year? How ’bout this- would the Vols dismantled the Longhorns in the title game this year?

Card-carrying member of the Vol-haters club since 1987! But let’s put some semblance on my hate: I actually do like the Manning family. Archie, Peyton and Eli. They’re all good eggs. Too bad Peyton killed ‘Bama, but it’s like this: I just hate their football team and fans of the their football team.

I hear that Bryce’s brother, who used to play “warming the bench” LB for the Gators last year is set to transfer to Kansas State. Also, I hear that- according to Bryce, “I’ma wait and see how the new coach (Dooley) is gonna use me in his system before I elect to transfer out of Knoxville, possibly to play for the Wildcats with my brother.” (I shit you not!)
Would be a major coup for K-State, no?

Jeez, how can a kid come out and say that. He may have just found the doghouse. I actually think Dooley will do well – smart, coach’s son, charismatic. Although, his legal background reminds me of Slick Rick!
Ok, I had adopted the Vols w/ Kiff, but am officially off their bandwagon with their jilted girlfriend meltdown over Kiff’s departure. Roll Tide!
