Great Read On Seantrel

This was linked in the comments but this is to good to leave buried in the comments.

On Wednesday, national signing day, at a television studio in Chelsea Piers, Henderson, a 6-foot-8, 340-pound left tackle from Cretin-Derham Hall in St. Paul, announced his decision on the CBS College Sports Network by wearing a white U.S.C. jersey and a cardinal Trojans cap. For an offensive lineman to be considered the top recruit is a rare feat.

Henderson and his family provided an inside look at his final week of recruitment. It included updates on Florida Coach Urban Meyer’s health, Southern California’s precarious situation with the N.C.A.A. and a flurry of text messages from two Heisman Trophy-caliber players.

This is a special young man!

FIGHT ON SEANTREL!

I Have Some Concerns..Founded or Otherwise!

The athlectic department has yet to announce Seantrel Henderson as a new Trojan.
As they say, the process is a thorough one, I am worried that he may pull a Jackson on us.

Someone tell me my worries are unfounded.

We will be fine

Look at the Oklahoma case as a recent example of a team with a player receiving extra benefits:

We will have to “vacate” some victories and maybe lose some scholarships, but that will be the extent of it. Henderson will sign once that becomes clear.

Alabama had the NCAA after them and they did all right:

He wants to come, he should come, he will come
