A: Kiffin ran more man-to-man coverages than Carroll because he is used to being in the NFL. So I expect the defense to be more aggressive. fucla gained 186 yards and had one TD against Tenn, with a 21% 3rd down conversion percentage. The only reason ucla won was because Tenn had 4 TO's (including 3 picks by Crompton). They won IN SPITE of chow's anemic offense, not because of it

If Monte's D holds Chow's O to 186 yards this year, USC will kill them. It won't even be close.

Monte's D also held eventual champ Alabama to 256 yards and 4 FGs (NO TDs) and nearly won except for a last second blocked FG attempt

BTW - Alabama just won the Nat'l title with an OC not named Chow.... I know it disrupts your strange world view, but it happens
