Yep
Pretty much every NCAA athlete…in any sport…who got suspended for any period of time…over the last two decades…did something that wasn’t as bad as what Cam Newton did.
Selective. Enforcement.
But what could the NCAA really do to Cam?
I guess they need to update their bylaws so that pay-for-play is a violation. Who knew?

Sidney is investigated for a year and then is suspended indefinitely 2 games into his college career. He pretty much punched his ticket to Europe for the rest of his life—if he’s even that lucky.
Great call by SC to drop him. I was already down on him after his gift unwrapping announcement stunt, even though he picked us…
