Meet USC Freshman Tennis Player Ray Sarmiento

Ray was nationally ranked no. 2 in the boys 18s and also #2 in socal, he is one of the Super 3 players in So cal with the other 2 going to ucla. Ray has a very good serve and is able to serve and volley witch in todays tennis is pretty much unheard of, along with a very good ground stroke game. I would have to say he fashions himself in the Roger Federer style of game which is all-court. He could play in the top 3 at USC this year but will be great at any position 1-6 and gives the team another chance at winning a NC this season. Ray is 5-10 and right handed with a 2 handed backhand Nice footwork with a very good serve, from Fontana, California. Here is some film on the young Trojan and a star in the making.
