Joe McKnight going to the defense???

Color me.........intrigued.

From the N.Y. Post...

The Jets head coach on Monday said the running back's performance on the scout team defense has initiated ideas of him playing two ways.

"Yes. Why not? It’s been done. Guys can play both ways," Ryan said. "Troy Brown was one. I think Cleveland had a guy with a receiver jersey last year (on defense). It’s been done.

"We’re pretty set now at corner, but it just shows you. He’ll go out there now and compete. When our guys are running routes against him, he’s competing like crazy out there. You see some natural corner skills."

I am just not seeing this but hey you never know...

Good Luck Joe!!

FIGHT ON!

That might work

As I understand it, corners don’t have to be big or catch. If McKnight can harness the speed to disrupt plays, maybe that might work.

As a Trojan

I wish Joe the best, I thank him for the 08 Rose Bowl and for a decent job last season, and I’m sorry he suffered injuries for so long. But Joe McKnight is among the early exhibits of a Carroll recruiting disappointment.
