You must care. This shows PC has USC’s interest in mind, if he takes Norm Chow everyone wins and it would constitute a final slap in Weasels face. We may not be happy with Bates but he does provide continuity for Barkley and the offense.

this is good...
so what happens is Pete gets Chow thinking about leaving UCLA. Then Chow remembers how much he hates Pete. SO he doesn’t follow Pete, but he’s thought about leaving UCLA. This is when USC swoops in with a huge offer and he comes home.
At USC we're not snobs, we're just better than you.
An NFL pension beckons. If NC can jump back into the NFL he will; Norm likes money.
