I think he can be a backup and serve a versatile role. The Reggie Bush comparison has long since come and gone, (but) Joe doesn’t have that second gear where he gets a step of daylight and he’s gone. The other part is, he’s got to learn how to protect the football. He’s not going to get that many chances (in the NFL). He’s obviously talented and skilled athletically as a runner, receiver and returner, but he’s got to improve protecting the ball. He’s never going to be that elite, explosive guy at the next level."
