USC @ ucla Basketball Pix

So this is my 20th trip to Pauley Pavilion for the USC-ucla game. The last time I saw the Trojans win at Pauley was recently forfeited due to the sanctions against USC. The bruins just looked sluggish. The bench players from last season are now the starters. There isn't a dead-eye shooter from 3 point range, and their point guard Lee just doesn't have the same Fire that Collison had.

Here I am sitting in my seat with my new T-Shirt

Dwight was on fire today. He buried the bruins single-handed from the 3 point line

Steadfast bruins at center court leave with 4 minutes to play abandoning their team. At least the students didn't leave early. I can respect that.

Gerrity smiles as the Trojans run out the clock. USC takes an intentional shot-clock violation at the end. How embarrassing for the once proud bruins to suffer the worst loss to USC ever.

and the final scoreboard. Enjoy

Sorry about the blurriness of the photos. I had to dodge a lot of popcorn and nacho chips. Overall the bruins were pretty subdued and not talking much trash. As time expired one bruin in front of me started yelling at Mike Garrett calling him a cheater. The bruins were most happy with the speech of Neuheisel who promised that he will bring it to USC and new coach Lane Kiffin at halftime. They are really drinking the Kool-Aid on this one. They seemed pretty happy never to have to face Pete Carroll again.
