Coach O already calling recruits?
Per SI.com-
Volquest.com reported that former Tennessee recruiting coordinator-Ed Orgeron-- part of Kiffin's advance team already in Los Angeles -- called several Tennessee commitments and offered them scholarships to USC. The site reported that several early enrollees, in the locker room for their first meeting with their new Tennessee teammates, turned on their speaker phones so other players could hear Orgeron.
Comes right in and gets down to business. Probably won't make people very happy. This is starting to seem dirtier and dirtier. Damned Jiminy Cricket.

no big time recruits..
who would be the biggest recruit he could sway from tennesse to USC
It’s been mentioned elsewhere, but there’s the question of contacting recruits during a supposed dead period. Fun to watch!
The worst part of that was that they were playing the voicemails he left on speaker for everyone to hear...
At USC we're not snobs, we're just better than you.
All's Fair in Love and War
Ummm, do dirty tricks happen every day in recruiting? Yes! Fight on, Coach O!
If it's an NCAA violation to call recruits in January, then College Football is just messed up

Another view to this...
While agree that it doesn’t look good as long as the rules were not broken the all is fair in the recruiting wars.
When PC resigned how fast do you think Meyer, Neuheisel etc. went after our recruits?
A LOT of programs have been using the NCAA stuff against us for years. I don’t see those fan bases complaining.
Again, I understand the perception problem but this is big boy football we are talking about here most of these coaches would not only sell their mother for a recruit but they would send her C.O.D.
These guys are sharks…what did you think they were going to do?
