I am reluctant to put this up because it is from Wolf.
There were rumors of this last night...

Sad Day
but, I’ll say again, “in chaos, lies opportunity.” maybe we can get a Garrett resignation out of this too.
Something failed in PC when he was betrayed by Mark Sanchez. That marked the beginning of the end. Even though there was hope at Ohio State, losing to first year coach Sark and then getting owned by first year coach Chip Kelly, followed by an historic loss to Stanford at home at the hands of a complete clown, and finally Arizona, all of these meant the run was truly and irrevocably over. His running away like this makes his “win forever” slogan just that, a slogan.

And so ends the worst year in the history of USC athletics
Next on the agenda: FIRE MIKE GARRETT!

Worst year? Wasn’t the Hackett years worse for you guys? Even our Tom Holmoe led Cal teams beat you!
In other words, Go Bears!
You need to include the debacle with the basketball team to the equation. Hackett was terrible, but expectations were very low back then.

I think Garret has been inept since he bungled the John Robinson “transition.”

Yep
we should have seen this coming for years. our higher ups were not proactive. PC had everyone giddy with success. Poor planning and mgmt decisions were hidden.
This brings to mind one of my father’s two aphorisms for business: never confuse good times with good management.
It’s always better to be lucky than to be good. His luck finally ran out.
