John David Booty was cut by the Minnesota Vikiings, a day after making a poor throw at the worst possible time and having it returned for a touchdown in an exhibition finale against the Dallas Cowboys.
Hopefully this doesn't end the saga of JDB in his pursuit of landing as a starter on an NFL team. Fight On John David!

That blows – but a heck of a lot of people have been getting cut – I saw that Tyree was let go by the Giants and he made one of the more iconic catches of the last several years in a Super Bowl. No love lost in the NFL.

I heard he just got signed to the practice squad. So. . . there’s that. I want to see him do well, I just can’t quite put my finger on he and Matt Leinart. Now that Cassell’s hurt, that leaves “everybody’s favoritie” (tongue-in-cheek) Mark Sanchez and a rebuilt Carson Palmer. (who happens to me my favorite. I think the world of Carson).
