The Delusional Cal Fan
Every once in a while you see a post on a message board that makes you stop and just shake your head.
I think most knowledgeable football fans will Cal the respect they deserve and within the Pac-10 there is an even great respect...
But lets not get carried away.
Memorial Stadium will be rocking...but it aint the Shoe...

Well, I don’t think the post referred to as delusional meant to imply that Memorial would be as loud or hostile as it was in Columbus. Or, that Memorial would be as loud or hostile as Autzen. Only that it won’t be a quiet, half-USC supporter, friendly environment.
At least, I hope not.
Anyway, I think both you and the ‘Delusional’ Cal fan both made the mistake of inferring something not there: The Cal fan thinking Barkely is expecting a nice reception (all he said was that he wasn’t expecting Memorial to be as loud as the shoe), and you believing the Cal fan meant Memorial would be worse.
Feh.
Either way, I’m hoping for a competitive game, with no injuries or incidents.
