Will it be the LA Vikings? Jags?
Chalk up another on for Ed Roski as the City of Walnut agrees to his plan for a stadium in Industry.

<!-- end mod-article-title --> <!-- begin story body -->WALNUT, Calif. -- The city of Walnut has approved a legal settlement in exchange for dropping objections to a proposed NFL stadium development in a neighboring Southern California city.
City Council members voted 3-1 to approve the settlement during a closed session Tuesday night.
Councilman Joaquin Lim says he voted no but he and the council are bound by a confidentiality agreement not to disclose details of the settlement until the parties release a joint statement on Thursday.
Walnut sued Industry over plans for an $800 million venue in March, claiming the neighboring city approved the project without sufficiently reviewing its environmental impact.
Industry City Manager Kevin Radecki did not return a call for comment.

One wonders...
…if there’s an NFL team, how many SC fans who didn’t go to the university will drop the team like a hot pancake and stock up on NFL replica gear?

The more relevant question would be if the team is based in Industry, would the opening day crowds be any bigger here than in Jax?
Mark it "8", Dude.
Industry is a great place for a stadium
Close enough to draw the LA crowd, but also close to the Inland Empire, which is the 14th largest metropolitan in the country. The place would be packed.

And plenty of player sighting after the game
at Spearmint Rhino down the road. They’d be the modern day version of the Cowboys.

Who cares?
The townie fans are already dropping like flies, they just show up for the team with the best record. On the bright side, the NFL would play one or two seasons in the Coliseum while their new place is built. This means the Coliseum would get some much needed upgrades.
