The OCR gives their reasons as to why tOSU will beat USC...
Based on everything I’m hearing and reading, if Ohio State beats USC, it’ll be a monumental upset.
Well, here are three reasons the Buckeyes will beat the Trojans. (To read the companion piece — three reasons the Trojans will beat the Buckeyes — click here.)
1. Terrelle Pryor is Vince Young II.
No one prepares his team better than USC coach Pete Carroll. The problem with a player like Pryor is that you can’t prepare for every possibility. Carroll’s nightmare scenario is Pryor taking off and running — on a designed passing play. It can and will happen. Even in last year’s game, Pryor’s second as a collegian, he rushed for 40 yards on 11 carries. And he had no idea what he was doing back then. I also recall Aaron Corp burning USC’s first-string defense for several long gains on scrambles during spring practice. Pryor has shown signs of being that magical type of player who can win a game almost single-handedly. He’s ready to rise to this occasion.
