do you think Bill has the guts to show up at USC
If he does everyone knows what he looks like he will be crying after about a 1/2 hour.

He's just trying to sell papers
to do that he has to sensationalize the truth. So far he is blaming the Reggie Bush scandal on Pete, suggesting he created the environment where parents 150 miles away from campus would be able to obtain illegal gifts from agents.
According to Wolf, there is only one person, not in the NCAA, that thinks that the consultant that USC used constituted a violation. I question whether or not the NCAA will even bother to investigate it.
Another Scott Wolf blog excerpt
Q: Trojans Rule said:
HI SCOTT:
Did you know about the paid kicking consultant last season, and, if so, did you think it was a violation?
A: Yes, everyone knew former NFL special teams coach Pete Rodriguez was a consultant. He usually showed up on Mondays and would watch practice. At the time, I asked different people within the athletic dept. and was told that compliance had signed off and it was considered legal under rules. At this time, all we know right now is that someone else who does not currently work for the NCAA has a different opinion. But it was not done secretly or hidden from the public.
After reading Wolf's comments about Rodriguez
It looks like the LA times is trying to act as if they have uncovered something damning that USC is trying to cover up. The way this looks to me is that the consultant never attempted to hide what he was doing, and Coach Carroll kept him out in the open, and didn’t try to hide anything.
Plaschke’s piece misrepresents the truth.
I heart you frak!
that is some good stuff you just put up. thanks! (damn good stuff!)

For the first time, I saw Scott Wolf!
No, I didn’t make it over to practice yesterday- but I asked the owner of The Daily Pint in Santa Monica to crank up the TV while I was playing pool last night so I could finally hear and view Scott Wolf for the first time on Ch. 9 News.
He seems a ton more “mellower” than I would have imagined. Hearing him speak about the Trojans? He seems to have command of their actions/interactions. . . why doesn’t that translate well to print? (also ?. . . . .he seems to be a bit effeminate and . . . . speaks with an absurd “lisp”. nothing wrong with lisps or . . .whatever. . . .just saying!)

Coach's Response
Coach Carroll just said it all. Right back at Plaschke succinctly and with dignity. THIS is what USC football is all about Bill. Why don’t you learn about the USC football program for real instead of just jumping in the media foolishness because it’s easy and fun.
Thanks Coach! Win forever is the way to go in all of life’s endeavors!
