When I first read the quote from Reilly’s article (“An UCLA coach out recruiting an LA-kid. Crazy”) I thought it was implying “out-recruiting an LA-kid”, like Coach Neu was beating Coach Carroll on the recruiting front. . . .? Boy, was I wrong.

I like that Coach Carroll was saying “actually out in the ’Wood, recruiting”. That makes a ton more sense to me. I know Ucla gets their LA-kids, but they get their Mater Dei, Sherman Oaks Notre Dame type kids. Not the Compton, LB Poly, Venice, Inglewood type. (yes, to an extent they do. . . .but not like USC traditionally has!)

. . . .those guys are asshats. No skills nor surf manners. (truck got broken into as as well. . . .damn!)

That Wilner article on the PAC 10 was a cool read. Great comments at the end too. CC-peeps should check that one out!

I didn’t know he had a 6-month old kid named Jaiden? It also says in the article that he wants 1K yards receiving and rushing. Huh? (all the power to you brotha! if anyone on the team can do it- it’s you or Shoemate)
