I stopped reading after the part where USC “underachieved.” Also, when have the bruins been a football powerhouse. When have they been in the national title hunt with any degree of regularity.

I hate to break it to this bruin, but 1 NC, and 1 heisman, does not make you a powerhouse.

bruins have won the rose bowl 5 times. Thats not a tradition of any sort. Yes they have their spurts of success, but they have about as much chance of catching USC in football as USC basketball has at catching up to them in basketball. Its not going to happen in our lifetime. If it ever does happen, it will be a very long time from now.

I can only think of 1 word to describe this braintrust:
