With your o-line, Barkely will likely have a lot of time to learn, and with the talent he possesses, he should be able to get into the swing of things pretty quickly. Although they are pretty close in age and class, Barkely is prolly the best option long-term for USC-assuming he stays past his freshman year (likely) so why not have him start behind a great line with plenty of quality RB to take the load? Next year USC might not have as much around, and if Barkley were to be the starter next year, the transition might be harder.
