Should the Pac-10 keep the round robin?
Hey all. I wanted to alert you guys to a Fan Post I just wrote for CGB focusing on what the Pac-10 as a whole gains, and loses, as a result of the round robin. As you guys are our brothers in arms, thought you might want to check it out. There was a lot of talk about the round robin earlier this summer, but with football season practically upon us, I figured it was a good time to actually look through some of the numbers.
Thanks!

Hmmm … I see someone has been replaced in this list :)
Yeah, well, that's just, like, your opinion, man.
I feel that is a more competitive schedule
Since Fresno seems to be more on the upside and this way they can be cleared to play in one of the HS leagues. And if the Washington schools don’t get it together they will be replaced with BYU and Hawaii

I like your sense of humor
but if you’re going to replace anyone in the Pac-10, the Washington schools have been exploring depths of degradation and craptasticness barely even observed by UCLA. :-)
WSU
won the conference in 2002. Washington won in 2000, and won the Rose Bowl. Now both programs have been down for a while, but then again, so have the bruins.
my point was not that they haven't had some success over the past decade
but their current woes far exceed UCLA’s. What was Washington last year, 0-12? Even as bad as UCLA was (and we WERE bad) we still eked out 4 wins. We have been mediocre longer, but haven’t plumbed the depths like these two prorams.
Reminds me
“Hey Pot, say ‘Hi’ to yer cousin Kettle. Y’all haven’t seen much of each other lately.”
“But Uncle Irony, that can’t be my cousin. He ain’t ‘black’ enough!”
“Who you calling ‘black’?”

Wsu had 3 QB's go down
ucla knows what that is like. The Cougs had to put out ads on campus asking for open tryouts at QB. Yes they are having problems over there, but I would say that if ucla is ahead of WSU over the last 5 seasons, it isn’t by much. The last time I went to a WSU-ucla game at the Rose Bowl, the Cougars beat the bruins.
UCLA would be the only team you'd play for sure each year still.
No one dare touches the rivalry.
It's time not be a rivalry
