And they were kind to us. I like that fact, because- in no way do I feel any of our commenters think we’re immune to sanctions and penalties. Matter of fact, I think the overall consensus is WE WILL be hit with something. I hope our football team isn’t hit as hard as I think our basketball team will. Will the NCAA combine them? Probably, and if that’s the case- OUR WHOLE AD programs will be hit pretty good. Let’s face it, Garrett blew it. Which makes it look like President Sample doesn’t have much control over things here. And Coach Floyd? He flat-out blew it with Guillory and Johnson. Do I think he handed over the cash like Johnson’s alleging? No way, no how. Coach Floyd just ran as loose a ship as can be and for what reason? I don’t know, but it sure isn’t because he thinks he’s all high and mighty. He probably just thought the better of the situation and looked the other way not thinking someone was gonna start pointing fingers at some of his basketball program activities. He must have had the utmost confidence that compliance was monitoring things quite well and left it to others to tell him when things weren’t looking rosy in the locker rooms, practice facilities and official basketball functions. He’s a happy go lucky guy, so that fits his demeanor. Do I think Coach Floyd is a cheating, lying person like some people do? Nope. Like I said, he’s a southern-boy who sees the world through a nice happy lens.

Now Coach Carroll. Do I think he looked the other way when Bush and his family was up to their violating antics? No, I don’t think he had a full understanding of the way things were going when Bush went dumbfuck on his association with Lloyd Lake and Ornstein. Did Bush do things he knew he shouldn’t be doing? Yeah, to an extent, in my view. He put EVERYBODY in jeopardy when he was out chasing his Heisman. What about McNair? He HAD to have some inkling, I think he too put the program in jeopardy. He’s just waiting this one out I think. So, Garrett might have given too much free reign on Coach Carroll, Coach Carroll might have given Bush and McNair too much of the benefit of doubt, and then there’s compliance? Asleep at the wheel.

This all sure does look like lack of institutional control to me. But was it a conscious route of gaining an unfair advantage? No I don’t think so. So, with that- I’m not so sure how the NCAA will view all of these things. They CAN VERY WELL come down hard, and to that end- we’ll have no control over what is sanctioned or determined when the NCAA completes it’s findings. We can go the FSU route and appeal. What we should do is self-impose some things before shit hits the fans. Coach Floyd has got to go. So does Garrett. Sample would be wise to mete out those punishments and tout de suite!

CGB is quite fair to us. For that, I’m thankful. They can be harsh as they have no love lost for all things USC, and that’s FOR SURE. But they didn’t. Neither did their regular posters. We got props from one of them. And to that- if you’re reading sharkbit- THANKS A BUNCH HOMEY!

Shit, thanks to all of them over there. They didn’t give us any blowjob, but they didn’t hack away at us like they very well could have and within their rights and responsibilities as rivals can and will do. They were almost angels towards us.
