I voted "unbeaten" season on Wolf's blog. . . .
. . . .but I WAS JUST JOKING. The “homer” in me voted, actually. But, then this:
“Even thought the Trojans play potentially 4 ranked teams on the road (Ohio State, CalBears, Notre Dame, and OregonDucks) 7 of my 9 sets of Power Ratings call for an unbeaten season” (words of Phil Steelel, as gleaned from his PDF commentary at above mentioned link)
Phil’s NOT our homer! What’s his story? Is it a matter of “never living up to” the prognosticator’s expectations? Or is it a sincere vote of confidence, lack of confidence in the teams that are on our schedule? Who knows. Just please, I hope no one makes us a “41-point” favorite IN ANY OF OUR GAMES this upcoming season.
