Why the Vilification of Tim Floyd Bothers Me So Much - Maize n Brew
Once again Dave hits a home run with some solid non-biased analysis...wish more people would take the same approach!

I agree to appoint
I think Scott Wolf pretty much established that Floyd knew what was going on with Guillory and Mayo, and chose to ignore it. It bit him in the ass because in gave Johnson’s story, no matter how outlandish (and I’m on the record for saying I don’t believe Johnson) credibility, and it gave Yahoo something to run with.
The one thing he misses is that this story has nothing to do with Basketball. It is all about Football.
What do you mean, "this story"?
He is under no obligation to comprehensively cover the totality of our scandal-plagued issues. Dave is writing from the standpoint of the vilification of Coach Tim Floyd. Singularly and specifically. The other issues he brought into his post were merely tangential, to offer variables and/or reasons why he has arrived at his perspective, as it applies to Tim Floyd resigning his coaching position- and the events which influenced it.
He can’t possibly miss the story, he’s creating his own . . . … as it’s from his perspective and opinion- and we’re just to sit back, read, and agree or disagree. The idea of “this story being about football and nothing to do with basketball” is a story that concerns mostly just us and the totality of the last 5 years of USC athletics. It’s a story which we’re intimately involved with and are working through. Not his

I’m confused. I thought I was logging on to Paragon’s Conquest Chronicles, but apparently I’ve discovered Stanley Fish’s alternative USC fanblog.
Who knew, I thought he was a Dukie.
Wanna know something weird Zou?
I had a root canal on one of my bottom molars at 1 PM today. (& the f_cker showed no love. . .but I must admit, he shot a crazy grip of Marcaine in 4 areas near that tooth . . .but still- the freaking-Igor didn’t prescribe any analgesics . . . gave me a fridge-magnet and cool kids eraser with his office info stamped all around it- -
the story: a porcelain filling was dislodged. . . like just after Easter. . . .? You know I hate dentists when it takes me 2 months to follow-through on an urgent dental condition requiring immediate attention. cold beer and breathing cold air into my mouth would cause my entire lower jaw TO JUST THROB. it happens about 2- 5 times a day. . . i’m such an idiot.. .my procrastination caused irreversible damage to the point of requiring the little geriatric anti-christ in a mask to advise “digging a little deeper” (poor previous procedure caused minor infections and ultimately led to the porcelain to loosen and . . . . .? . . . .but damn this man-devoid-of-spirit sure had some uber-cool-ass miniature power tools . . . damn straight i asked about each and every one of ’em. . . i dig small shit like that! basically- i had something like a re-boring of the cylinder, in my case – - MY DAMN TOOTH!
So, ‘cause I still can’t spit 2-inches past my lips, you can imagine trying to hear me chat? And chattin’. . . .I’m quite proficient. In turn, because I’m conversationally-challenged. . .I’m taking it out on my fingers slapping away at this here laptop. (sorry about the choice of words, syntax, and grammar. . . .btw: who’s Stanley Fish and is he really a Blue Devil? . . .nice co-eds on that campus, if I do so say myself. . .)
Pardon the interruption anyway. . . I’m famished- on my way to woofin’ down some Vietnamese Pho. Hail no am I gonna go and grub out on some steak (like I wanna). Have a good weekend.

I'm beside myself.
That’s some sentient shit being said right there folks. From a person with no vested interest, no ulterior motives, and absolutely no reason to be charitable towards Coach Floyd. I can’t believe I just read that ON ANOTHER BLOG other than Conquest Chronicles.
Hey! How ‘bout it, ParaSC- might you look into “bumping” this on to CC’s front page?
