Noel Johnson gains release from USC...

One of the nation's top wing forwards, 6-7 Noel Johnson has gained his release from USC...
According to a source close to his recruiting, 6-7 Noel Johnson from Fayetteville, GA Fayette County, our No. 50-rated senior has been granted a release from his national letter to USC and will re-open his recruiting.
Johnson had been on the fence recently about whether to ask for a release, since the news of possible recruiting violations at USC, but did so this past week and then had it granted on Friday afternoon.
He reportedly will be looking for another school over the next month or so. He has interest in Georgia Tech, LSU, Connecticut, and UNLV, but will also see who else comes calling.
Johnson is an excellent shooter who has the length and quickness to become a scorer at the next level. He would be an excellent late addition for just about any program nationally. Hoopmasters will have more on his recruiting as it develops

Man, tough blow. That was a pretty awesome class SC had put together. The strange thing is, all of the drama with possible recruiting violations is gonna blow over. There just isn’t enough there IMO.
I’m interested in Locoweed’s analysis. Think he had a fitting one a few days ago about another program.
BASICALLY this is starting to be the pits
Why did we bring in an old run of the mill coach when we had a new arena, should of found a great young guy and let him build. But no we go for the named guy and he quits and then go for another dude that has no control of himself on sidelines. It would have been much better to fine a young up in coming and go from there, JUST ONE LONG TIME FANS OPINION.
