Will USC Sue Lake, Michaels, Guillory & Johnson
I hope so. And, by offering up a paper trail to prove that Guillory and Johnson funneled cash and gifts to Mayo, didn't Johnson just declare his guilt? So, perhaps Salerno's strategy to implicate USC and Tim Floyd is also a bargaining chip to defend a potential lawsuit from USC against Johnson regarding Mayo?

Sample and Garrett don't have the testicles for it
If they did, there would’ve been an official “access” to team, players, and facilities in place a long long time ago. Face it, Coach Carroll still has some explaining for allowing all those “agents”, scouts, evaluators, and professional sports personnel access to the sidelines, practices, and or rallys. Coach Floyd still needs better diligence in most all organizational aspects of the basketball program. He needs some training, help, funds, and/or “employee enrichment” classes to FULLY UNDERSTAND the do’s and don’t’s regarding compliiance, recruitment, and “outside” access.
I’d love it if USC legal department drew up litigious plans against Lloyd Lake, Guillory, Johnson, BDA, Ornstein, et. al. These people knowingly broke the law for financial gain and exploitation. Our players are just as guilty and culpable in these matters as well. How about suing Bush and Mayo? Didn’t they sign the student academic/athletic policy? Is there any legal-language pertaining to grievance, punishment, and/or school/student recourse for violating such policy?
USC must make changes, as an institution, and implement a modern and comprehensive system of enforcement, review, and oversight. We must learn to be more diligent and serious about changing the entire culture at USC (read: students, athletes, employees, and administration) so that we limit the abuse, violations, and continued tarnishing of our fine university.
I love USC, but we need to help ourselves and create these necessary changes.
