Mayo named to All-Rookie Team

Rookie of the Year Derrick Rose of the Chicago Bulls and Memphis guard O.J. Mayo are unanimous selections to the All-Rookie team.
Rounding out the first team announced Thursday were Oklahoma City's Russell Westbrook, New Jersey center Brook Lopez and Miami forward Michael Beasley.
Great news for O.J.!

‘Cause HE REALLY WANTS TO KNOOOOOOW! (where is he buried on the 2008/2009 All-Rookie Team list? and why? can’t you hear all the cryin’ and whinin’? i mean, i realize it’s coming all the way from Minneapolis, MN, but. . . . it sounds like it’s coming from across town?)
Whether it is or it isn’t, all I have to say is- “Hell yeah! OJ Mayo, Trojan for life, is UNANIMOUS. And that’s just fantabulous.”
Not too shabby of a NBA player, he turned out eh? But . . . .we all knew that.

Love had a great stat line...
Based off of the advanced metrics, but it has to be accompanied by some volume raw production. I also think that current ratings often tend to overrate bigs and rebounding, but regardless Love had a strong rookie campaign and his Offensive rebounding % was ridiculous.
…but I don’t think Love will be an all star someday, I think that OJ Mayo will.
