USC coach Pete Carroll said that he doesn’t expect senior linebacker Luthur Brown (strained shoulder) to be able to practice the rest of the spring.

"He strained his shoulder tackling the other day," Carroll said. "He really could be contributing too. He’s a really good player.

"We know enough about him to know that he can be big factor helping this football team."
