PrintNow, by my count SC had 8 or nine dunks against OSU. Taj Gibson chipped in three or four, Demar Derozan had three, Kid Euro had one, and Leonard "I was a D lineman in High School" Washington had one as well. This makes me think its not too hard to throw down on the beavers, but apparently things weren't so easy for ucla's Drew Gordon:

The look on his face is priceless, but come on now Mr. Gordon, aren't you supposed to be the anchor for the bruin's front court of the future? Knowing ucla though, I bet his teammates did not give him any crap about it and instead they shared a post game moment of solidarity and sportsmanship to reflect upon the nature of freshman mistakes and how great it is to be a Howland Hoops Soldier (or something like that). Nah... scratch that. He's going to be hearing about this one for years to come.

Actually...
I like Gordon’s game. He plays very hard nosed and is aggressive around the rim, and although he picks up fouls a little to quick I’m sure he’ll be a very good (and possibly great) player for the bruins down the line.

I said I like his game, not that I’m in love with him. Kinda reminds of Leonard “The next Great College Player to look like he’s 30+ years old since Greg Oden” Washington, except Drew doesn’t have nearly as much… uhh what word am I looking for… personality? Yeah that’s about right

You’re alright with me. Always. It’s just that I couldn’t allow this lovely post of yours to delve downward towards a Bruin-love-fest. (like I let that last one with rye and ucladj you did. i mean, yeah- I admire/respect Ben Howland. but after re-reading some of the things I wrote there. . . .I went over to The Daily Pint in Santa Monica with a few of my Trojan neighbors and talked shit all night to A LOT OF and ANY Bruin within an earshot or pool game that night. Had to do SOMETHING to make me feel better. Yeck! It was an awful feeling. The hangover was SWEEEEET though!)

I did better than that when i was his age, or maybe it’s a fenchy kind of thing! Wait is that the ghost of Sam Gilbert in the background I hear he is still haunting the place.

Heads would be rolling by now almost anywhere else. Sometimes I cannot believe how benevolent and tolerant I am. Although, FYI I am locking this up if I see another picture of a bruin dunking. I am fair, but I enforce a terrible and swift brand of justice. TERRIBLE AND SWIFT I SAY!!

Props for that. I love BN, but I get the feeling if I were an SC fan doing it on BN, I would have been ripped apart on the thread & banned. Hell, I might get banned from BN for writing this. Still, love the freedom of speech.
plus, those beautiful Bruin dunks will live on in my mind :-)

Consider the source across town…all the pieces of the puzzle have fallen into place, we don’t take ourselves that seriously.
A little good natured ribbing of ones rival in posts like these keeps it real.
