PrintIn the words of Dick Enberg..."Oh My". Mission Bay (San Diego) Senior QB ( and USC bound) Dillon Baxter did everything to get his Bucs to the Division IV finals. Mission Bay (12-0) stood on top by a 58-42 score over Santa Fe Christian, earning the Bucs a trip to Southwestern College next Saturday night to battle defending champ Valley Center for the D-IV title. Baxter threw for 271 yards (13/16 passing) and two touchdowns, ran 32 times for 177 yards, three TDs and a pair of two-point conversions, and even caught a 27-yard touchdown pass. For good measure, Baxter added an interception on defense. 619 Sports Craig Elsten caught up with Baxter following the game for a post game interview where Baxter spoke with about moving on in the CIF, and his hopes for next season as a Trojan.
