Steve Smith
That guy is so money on third downs. He gets hit hard too! I couldn’t watch the last Giants game, it was atrocious. I forgot who they played, but damn it looked bad!
They guys over at the Texans’ blog blistered the Houston front office for picking Cushing. (they just can’t let that Rose Bowl 05 victory go away. even though Texas won, they still hate USC for some reason. It’s not like it wasn’t the greatest Rose Bowl game ever?) And now look at Cush. They aren’t exactly sucking his thighs these days, but they begrudgingly tell their audience they were wrong on Cush, and he alone has practically put them on the map. What else is there to do in Houston? I heard their 7 1/2 footer is injured or something. Basketball town)

cush.. impressing...
how the hell did steve smith not make it.. the 4 or so recievers who made it in front of him must have been great
Steve Smith Undervalued & Screwed
WRs – Smith/Fitzgerald/Rice/Austin/Jackson
Receptions – 97/94/77/74/60
Yards – 1163/1075/1200/1230/1120
TDs – 7/12/6/11/9
1st Downs – 58/67/54/55/39
YAC – 202/249/265/437/316
He is 3rd in the entire league in receptions, but doesn’t have as many TDs and highlight plays as the other receivers. I think he should have been ahead of Sidney Rice and Desean Jackson. He was also probably partially overshadowed by his colleagues, Nicks and Manningham.
Steve Smith got screwed!
ahead of sidney rice?
no way.. the guys a beast.. and desean jackson is the most exciting fastest big play reciever in the NFL.. steve smiths stats are beetter then jackson.. but jackson is like the lebron james of football… hes just not fair how fast he is

Rice is good
but, only 6 TDs as the featured WR with Brett Favre having an MVP-like year? not sure that is Pro Bowl worthy.
Note the Giants also have the worst team record compared to the Pro Bowl receivers’ teams, so I am sure that was a big negative for SS too.
