Senior linebacker Reggie Carter was set to miss a second day of practice and will be unavailable for the bowl game unless he completes work for one class, a source within the program said anonymously because he was not authorized to speak on the topic.
Carter needs to pass the class to have six units for the quarter, the minimum required to remain eligible.
Great!!
Carter is more concerned about a stupid tradition than staying eligible for his "bowl" game. And it would appear that Slick Rick was in on it too!
Jeez you can't make this stuff up!!

OH MY GOD!
What’s just as telling as the choice to jump over that blessed wall, is the fact that Carter (remarkably) can’t get his ass in gear to pass ‘minimum’ 6 units- to remain eligible for that bowl game they backed into. So, I ask- ACADEMIC STANDARDS? What exactly does that mean?
If you elect to throw in the fact that Shareece (REEEEEEEEEEEECE!) couldn’t remain eligible for this season (but he may. . . . very well play in OUR bowl game)- that’s fine. Fair game. But! Does academic standards have any weight with those full-of-themselves fUcla fans that wanna throw that in our face when they talk about all those Nobel prize winners they’ve got on their sidelines? I mean, ok! To ‘get in’ and be a part of that great Westwood tradition that is ‘football’- you ‘might’ have to actually take the SAT or whatnot (hopefully you score higher than 1K, whatever?)- but, as it turns out- with the whole “6-units-to-be-eligible” for playing athletics over there, it’s not like you’re hacking away at your P-Chem thesis to graduate now is it?
Ms. Soto’s classes and ball room dancing have another face for us Trojans.
At least our players finish their classes!
Damn!

Its all the same
They have the same problems that we do. To say any different is just plain stupid. The clowns over at BN who have no sense of reality can believe whatever they want to. It doesn’t make it true.

Did you guy read (i am NOT making this up)- THE COACHES . . . .
. . . .tried jumping over the same wall? (i shit you not!)
Get this: THEY COULDN’T CLIMB OVER IT, those freaking lard-asses!
Tell me something guys- what’s not to like about schadenfreude? This is way fucking better THAN TELEVISION!
Bruckenheimer, Lucas, Spielberg, and Howard couldn’t create this movie, Wes Craven couldn’t create this horror film, and Stephen King couldn’t write this script! This stuff is Twilight Zone material!
Here’s the link to the LAT article I found. See for yourself! Look for “Wall Day II”.
