who is going to be the top 3 recievers next year?
rojo and who else??
our recievers are going to need to step up without damian williams
After Johnson, it’ll likely be Brice Butler and David Ausberry. Don’t forget about sophomore-to-be D’Von Flournoy either.

ausberry not so much
the guy is slower then a tight end…
but yeah we need to get a great reciever like georgia alabama and notre dame have… a bona fide star.. who will step up and be that? does usc even have one that has the potential to be one? a golden tate aj green michael floyd type?
Ausberry isn't that slow...
he isn’t a speed demon, but I’ve watched him in practice the past few years, and he doesn’t lack the speed or strength to be a quality Pac-10 receiver. He doesn’t have great hands and for some reason he just has Mike Williams NFL syndrome (i.e. he just doesn’t have the “it” quality and often appears to be disinterested).

Yes It is not his speed holding him back it is the Patterns holding all the receivers back.
It is not really the play calling that kills the trojans, it’s the darn plays period they totally lack imagination or anything for that matter. Heck pee wee football has better plays, I don’t care if the a OC walked on the moon at least get someone with street smarts.

Asberry and Ayles need to be moved to the defensive backfield

Aus lacks football "smarts"
Instincts are critical for a WR. Aus is just not a good football player. Bad blocker, bad routes, bad hands, bad instincts. Move him to defense.
Look for Flournoy or Carswell to move into the #3 spot
Big question is how will RoJo handle the #1 spot? I am not sold on RoJo, I must admit.
You guys are all forgetting about Robert Woods he is better than any reciever we have on the team now.

Prater isn’t even a lock to end up at ‘SC. He’s only a soft verbal so it’s still quite possible he signs elsewhere, especially after the kind of year we had.

Prater - 100% Trojan

Joey, everyone’s a soft verbal until they sign their LOI. Prater just reaffirmed to Scout that he is 100% Trojan. But, we all know to expect the unexpected until signing day.
Paul, Prater and Woods could be the biggest program changers in recent memory. The WR position is very open for them too. Sure hope we land both. A Michael Floyd/Golden Tate, Smith/Jarret, Colbert/Williams-type combo.
Yah How dumb does that make R Carroll and Pressly

Man, if we can land Lache Seastrunk too?
Damn, mighty fine O (and I like those. . . . .)
It’s D that we need more of. I cannot believe of all the lineman talent on D we’ve been stockpiling over the past recruiting years that we cannot coach them up to perform on Saturdays. I mean, c’mon coaches.
Something’s not right in Camelot. Just saying.
