Class at its finest!
So much for being magnanimous in defeat and for taking the moral high ground.
There really isn't much more to say as the above pic pretty much say it all...
Congrats Chick...you have cemented yourself as the epitome of the classless sports fan...
Her parents must be proud!

Whoa!
Dude? That’s pretty messed up. I’m shocked I tell ya! SHOCKED!
It's the Daily Kos of UCLA
All about themselves and the agenda with no regard for how they make UCLA look.

I actually blame Tyrone Willingham
I don’t know it just feels right
That's a good observation
BN is always on message, it has a very political feel to it.
Slow day in the Trojan Universe, huh?
You mean to tell me you guys have the time to troll through a rival’s blog, pick out some irritated comment (they don’t teach you folks about hyperbole at USC?) and make entire threads about other peoples’ lack of class? Especially after what we witnessed on the sidelines this past game?
Wow. Since I don’t share your habit of trolling other people’s blogs (didn’t even know I was honored with my very own thread until someone else told me), I think you’ll find that every time I’ve had occasion to post on Conquest Chronicles I’ve been respectful. I doubt I’ll be back—far be it from me to sully the temple of compassion this blog represents—but I do feel compelled to point out that the comment you’ve highlighted pales in comparison to the kind of behavior I’ve witnessed in person every time I’ve been around groups of Trojan fans at these games.
So, when you guys get over the hypocrisy, feel free to get back to me and I’ll reconsider my attitude. Meanwhile, if this is the sort of thing that makes you feel all special and superior, then by all means fight on.
GO BRUINS!!!
Hey look who is here!!
Really?
Hyperbole…bit much don’t you think?
I can think of a ton of things say other than wishing someone to die in a fire. Could you imagine how it would have went over on BN if we said that about RN here???
Anyway thanks for the .02 cents. Appreciate your take, I would agree that you have been respectful here on CC, though I can’t remember the last time you commented here (if ever), at least it was thoughtful so I will give you that…
Good luck the rest of the way…
Oh, and one more thing…
I have forgotten more about compassion than you will ever know…
This must have also been "HYPERBOLE"

USC Fan Loses Eye After Pro-UCLA Group Attack
Daniel Crowson Says UCLA Fans Beat Him, Attacked Him With Bottle
LOS ANGELES (CBS)
A 32-year-old USC fan Tuesday recounted his beating at the hands of Bruins fans amid tailgate parties outside the Rose Bowl before UCLA upset the Trojans, 13-9.
Daniel Crowson, whose face was scraped and bruised, told reporters he lost an eye when he and a friend were set upon by as many as 10 UCLA fans simply they were “convenient” and “had the opposing colors on.”
“There certainly was no instigation,” the Torrance man said.
Crowson said he was taking punches from as many as 10 attackers, then “out of nowhere, I just remember seeing a flash of a bottle come across my face.”
A cut to an eyeball took more than five hours to repair in surgery at Kaiser Permanente in Harbor City, he said.
His wife also recounted seeing her husband’s injuries. “I see my husband come around the front of the car, covered in blood and just adrenaline-pumped, and screaming and saying, ‘They hit me with a bottle, they hit me with a bottle,’” she said. “The glass that hit his eye went through every layer of eye, severing it all, all the way to the jelly.”
Crowson said he and his friend were attacked when they left their car to walk to a bathroom outside the Rose Bowl shortly before Saturday’s football game.
Anyone who saw the attack was asked to call Pasadena police at (626) 744-7113.

And this was BEFORE the game. Yep, those bruins are a classy bunch.

BruinChick, does this behavior also
“pale in comparison to the kind of behavior I’ve witnessed in person every time I’ve been around groups of Trojan fans at these games.”
Excuse the admitted rudeness here
Don’t defend an absurd statement like this. Go ahead and make statements about how much you hate seeing us celebrate, about how you hate all things USC, etc, etc. Those are obviously within the spirit of the rivalry and aren’t taken with any particular offense. Wishing physical harm or death on someone just because they represent a rival sports team – even though it obviously isn’t meant literally – is in poor taste and quite honestly makes you look like a moron who needs a little perspective.
And don’t justify it by bringing up anecdotes about how you were treated by assholes rooting for USC. We know USC has some asshole fans, just like UCLA has some asshole fans, just like every school has some asshole fans. I had to endure several of them while simply walking to my car from the Rose Bowl back in 2006. Countering that though were a bunch of Bruin fans who we met near our seats at the game and who we had a great time with. We each rooted for our teams and traded some good natured barbs. When it was over we shook hands and parted ways.
Again, my apologies for my rudeness here, but I don’t know how you can respond politely to something this stupid.

At that very same game
I was stuck behind YOUR student bus on a freeway off-ramp and had bottles thrown at my car. Interestingly, THAT was happening on your school’s watch, and as far as I could see nothing was being done to stop it.
So if we’re going to make this about the worst examples, rest assured that there are plenty to choose from.
And Paragon, thanks for the half-hearted send-off, but I guess I couldn’t expect any less. Most of my comments here were before the conversion to the SBNation format, I think. This one happened to be the only recent one I could find:

Apologies for forgetting that on…

Nice to know
that when someone’s life is actually in the balance, that you will wish them well. Ask yourself why it takes a horrific accident for you guys at BN to become decent. I guess I have a hard time wondering how the person that wrote this:
All the best…
It’s awful to know that such a horrific incident happened to great young man, but the toughest warriors overcome and I suspect that’s what Stafon will do.
All the best from this Bruin for a fast and complete recovery.
Then went on to write this:
Nestor, Please put up the postgame thread
so i can explain why Carroll should die in a fire.
Thanks for the well wishes, but hopefully you can understand why they seem hollow coming from people like you.
BruinChick
Why the deathwish for Pete and the lifewish for Stafon? Other than positively impact thousands of underprivileged lives in the inner city and score a meaningless TD against fU¢LA, what has Pete done to earn your hatred.
I would never wish something so hateful for CRN. I actually like him and find him highly entertaining. That SC law degree has taught him to be a master of spin.
So I guess your point is
that the few USC fans that may or may not have tormented you are the reason why you wish our coach to die in a fire. Well I assure you that USC has no monopoly on rowdy fans. I have an identical story to yours that involves a bus load of bruin students on the way to the 66-19 game at the Coliseum. I had 3 bruin frat guys throw a beer bottle at my head on the campus, not to mention the time when a ucla fan pepper sprayed the USC section at the Rose Bowl, that was a nice one.
My point is, you can become one of those guys, or you can be a decent person. Sounds like you let your frustrations get the best of you. I wonder if coach Carroll were to die, if you would even feel a twinge of guilt. My guess is probably not.
In closing. I know that there are a-hole USC fans, and I know that there are A-Hole ucla fans. The fact that you can’t accept that rowdy drunken fans know no borders just reenforces the fact that you don’t have the capacity to be realistic. You are walking around L.A. with blinders on if you can’t see that ucla has the exact same jerks causing trouble that USC has. I don’t associate the A-Hole bruins with the rational bruins. There are a vast majority of bruin fans that are wonderful people, that I hang out with, and enjoy watching football with.
The truth is that you should be embarrassed for what you said. You should be contrite, but instead you will continue to be a bitter, angry, and humorless person when it comes to USC and this rivalry. I only hope that you don’t let this football stuff rule your life, because that would be truly sad.
Well put
You ever notice how every Bruin counters that losing an eye thing with a story like the above. Its always someone threw something at my car or someone scratched my car. I had a full can of beer hit me in the head at 13-9, in the stadium. I saw 4 UCLA students try to pick a fight with a really old guy 2 years ago at USC. When it all comes down to it we all have stories about crappy fans from the other side of town, but that kind of behavior comes out of a climate where its ok to say things like bruin chick did above. I hate to sound lame but, yeah, a garbage time TD does not mean its ok to wish death on another person you have never met. Wearing cardinal and gold, or powder blue does not mean its ok to cut someone with a bottle. Its all part of the same problem. It may surprise you, but I don’t like UCLA sports. I actually hope that every UCLA team loses every game for the rest of time. However, I hope that all of UCLA’s coaches and players live long fulfilling lives filled with happiness. I hope that every student athlete at UCLA achieves their personal goals and has a great career in sports or business or whatever they desire. I guess what I’m saying is that IT IS A GAME. No one should lose an eye over it, and while we live in a great country where we can speak our mind, that post was BS.
I tell you what I quit going to FB games after the raiders came to LA I went to a game with a female friend and we didn’t stay past the 3rd quarter. To many fights and bad language, when I was in HS school we played Compton HS at their place. It was an erie feeling on the field and they bussed in our fans. But one Parent drove and was attack and got a axe to the back of his head, he lost his eye sight.
